“We are determined to enrich the Public Library of Kabul even more”
Mr. "Mahajer Farahi", Deputy Minister of Broadcasting and Media of the Ministry of Information and Culture, made these statements during his visit to the Kabul Public Library today. He said that the library has collected an extensive collection of books. Mr. Mohajer added that the library had been further enriched in books, and the publishers have also promised to help bring and donate books to the Library.
Qari Obaidullah Hanif, Head of Public Libraries, said that the library has been used a lot since the arrival of the Islamic Emirate. He added that we intend to buy 3 million more books for this library.
It should not be forgotten that the Public Library of Kabul, which is located at the Malik Asghar Intersection next to Istiqlal High School, is one of the oldest libraries in the country, which currently contains thousands of books and is open for everyone to use.
