Book exhibitions were held in several provinces throughout the country in honor of Book Week

During the current week, known as International Book Week, the information departments in Panjshir, Ghazni, Ghor, Balkh, Faryab, Nangarhar, Nuristan, Helmand, Maidan Wardag, Samangan, Farah, Bamyan, and some other provinces organized book exhibitions with the coordination and cooperation of the Beyhaqi Book Publishing Department.

Participants in these exhibits included government officials, poets, artists, writers, youngsters, book enthusiasts, and students.
According to authorities from the Department of Information and Culture, the goal of staging book exhibitions during International Book Week is to encourage reading culture among various sections of society.
