The Director of Archeology Visited the Ancient Areas of Balkh Province

The Director of Archeology Zabihullah Sadat and his professional delegation visited the ancient areas of Balkh province as part of a working trip.
The delegation visited Dalbarjin Tepe of Balkh Province, Balkh Balahisar, Ayaran Tower, Noh Gunbad Mosque, Cheshma Shifa, Pir Nizamuddin Historical Building, Rawza Mubarake, and Qush Tepa Canal Route. The delegation discussed the implementation and coordination of the project with the National Development Company for the purpose of implementing and coordinating the work of the QushTepa Canal project, and promised that, in continuation of the past cooperation, professional delegations will be sent to survey the mentioned ancient areas, on one hand, the canal the construction works will be sped up and on the other hand protect the ancient and historical areas along the said route.
Also, the Director of Archeology and his delegation, the officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Balkh province, the 012 protection unit employees, the officials of Balkh province, the representatives of justice, agriculture, land, and real estate visited the ancient area of Chashma Shifa of Shulgra district of Balkh province and had a comprehensive discussion with the local people about the value of ancient and historical areas, the protection of cultural heritage and the decree of Amirul Momineen.
