Public Awareness Meeting Held in Kapisa on Implementation of Decree No. 17 and Combating Drugs and Human Trafficking

The Provincial Department of Information and Culture in Kapisa, in cooperation with the Tanweer Intellectual and Cultural Organisation, held a public awareness meeting in Hesa Awal Kohistan District on the implementation of Decree No. 17, the prevention of drug-related activities and the fight against human trafficking.

Mawlawi Karimullah Wasiq, Director of Information and Culture in Kapisa, stressed the importance of raising public awareness, preventing harmful customs and combating the cultivation, sale and use of narcotics.

Religious scholars and tribal elders from the district also emphasised that implementing the decree and securing public cooperation with the authorities in maintaining the country's stability and promoting its development is the both religious and national responsibilities.
