Consultative Meeting of Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission Held

The Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture held a consultative meeting chaired by Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs.
At the outset, the commission’s secretary presented a report on its field activities, outlining the work and measures undertaken over the past month, and shared it with the commission members.
The meeting also approved equivalent terms for 20 foreign words and expressions. In addition, 26 foreign terms and words were referred to the commission’s professional members to identify appropriate, standardized and academically recognized equivalents.
The meeting further discussed the commission’s provincial programmes and upcoming activities, as well as plans to hold a meeting with representatives of various trades and businesses in Kabul Province. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Kabul Chamber of Craftsmen and Shopkeepers.
