A coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, with representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior Affairs, and security agencies to discuss measures for ensuring tourist safety and providing necessary facilities.
The discussion focused on key areas, including ensuring reliable security for international tourists, creating visa facilitation mechanisms, strengthening the operations of the Hospitality and Tourism Institute, and promoting Afghanistan’s tourist attractions to foreign visitors.
At the start of the session, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal welcomed the participants and emphasized the ministry’s commitment to addressing tourists’ concerns and ensuring their comfort and convenience.
He highlighted the importance of inter-ministerial coordination for effective service delivery.
Representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior shared their recommendations and proposed plans. It was agreed that these coordination meetings would be held regularly to better manage and improve services for tourists.
