Tourism company representatives meet with the deputy minister for tourism to discuss their concerns.

On Monday (14th Dhul-Qa'dah 1446), representatives from several tourism companies met with Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, to discuss the challenges facing the tourism sector.

At the start of the meeting, the company representatives presented their issues and concerns, to which the deputy minister responded by assuring them of solutions aligned with the Islamic Emirate’s policies.

Deputy Minister Jamal also shared the ministry's strategic plans, stating that significant facilitation has been considered in the process of issuing licenses to tourism companies. He emphasized that this sector represents a major commercial and service-based opportunity. The Tourism Directorate is working to provide hotels and other essential amenities in recreational areas to attract more international tourists and create job opportunities for Afghan citizens.

Mr. Jamal further added that efforts are underway to bring all tourism companies under a unified framework. This initiative aims to enhance coordination between the ministry and the companies, ensuring the timely resolution of issues and better collaboration moving forward.
