The Department of Information and Culture of Laghman celebrated the Day of Protection of Cultural Heritage

On Sunday, 13 March,2023 Laghman Province's Information and Culture Department, Culture and Tourism Management celebrated the 20th Day of Cultural Heritage Protection in a series of special ceremonies.
In order to celebrate this day, the students of Haqyar Amin Private School in Laghman were taken to Mehtarlam Baba shrine, and were given information about the preservation and value of historical monuments.
Later, the Department of Information and Culture held a meeting in the Public Library with the youth, cultured people and students, in which the Director of Information and Culture Mawlawi Abdul Noor Rasooli, Culture and Tourism Manager Mohammad Nader Makhor, Manager of Information Attiqullah Qureshi, Protection of Cutltural Heritage General Manager Mohammad Yaqoub Ayubi, Cultural Youth Bashir Sayel and many more youth participated.
Director of Information and Culture Maulvi Abdul Noor Rasooli welcomed the participants, then called such meetings useful and added that by holding such meetings and visiting historical places, our future generation will learn about their history and the deeds of their ancestors. Also, they become aware of the history and value of the historical era.
He said that we will strictly protect the historical areas of Laghman and will not allow anyone to destroy them and asked the people to cooperate with them in protecting the cultural heritage.
