Seminar on Decree No. 17 Held in Zaranj

On 14 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH The Nimroz Department of Information and Culture held a seminar in Zaranj City for hundreds of students and religious students on Decree No. 17 issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate. The decree aims to prevent inappropriate customs and practices associated with celebrations, mourning, and returning from Hajj and Umrah.
Mawlawi Habibullah Elham, Director of Information and Culture of Nimroz, said the session explained the decree’s provisions and objectives and highlighted the importance of their implementation. He encouraged participants to contribute to social reform and play an active role in raising awareness within their communities.
Elham said the initiative was also intended to promote authentic cultural values and help create conditions for the gradual elimination of inappropriate customs and practices.
Participants said such educational programs could strengthen religious and social understanding, foster a greater sense of responsibility, and improve awareness of related social issues.
They welcomed the department’s activities and called for similar educational programs to continue in the future.
The seminar concluded with the distribution of brochures and stickers containing information about the decree.
