Regular Meeting of the Book Review Commission Held

On Monday (22nd of Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1447), the Book Review Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture’s Deputy Ministry for Publications convened its regular session under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister Mr. Muhajir Farahi, with the participation of commission members.

The session opened with a presentation of the previous meeting’s report by the commission’s secretary. The report highlighted the commission’s progress and achievements, which were positively acknowledged.

During the discussions, decisions were taken on several books. Publications that reflected Islamic and Afghan values received approval for printing, while 17 previously published titles were also reviewed and addressed accordingly.

By the end of the meeting, 23 newly submitted manuscripts were distributed among commission members for detailed evaluation, with findings to be presented in the next session. Authors in attendance also shared their concerns, to which the Deputy Minister responded with assurances of support and solutions.
