Cultural Attaché of the Ministry of Information and Culture Meets with IRIB Deputy and Director of Sahar Afghanistan International Network in Tehran
Izzatullah Asif, Cultural Attaché of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting at the IEA Embassy in Tehran with Mr. Ahmad Nowrouzi, Deputy of International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), and Mr. Morteza Shamsi, Director of the Sahar Afghanistan International Network.
During the meeting, Mr. Nowrouzi stressed the importance of ongoing engagement with media outlets and highlighted the need to expand bilateral cooperation for future joint efforts and lasting collaboration.
Mr. Morteza Shamsi shared insights into the network’s initiatives, especially their work broadcasting programs about Afghanistan’s tourism, recreational sites, and the conditions of Afghan refugees, aiming to increase public awareness and appreciation for Afghan society and its resilience.
Mr. Asif praised the contributions of Sahar Afghanistan and visited their offices and staff. He engaged in productive discussions with Mr. Nowrouzi and his team on developing joint cultural projects, improving mutual media cooperation, and promoting shared cultural values.
This meeting marks a positive step toward strengthening cross-border media engagement and enhancing cultural diplomacy between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
