Advisory Meeting of the Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission Held
Tuesday, 1405/2/8, an advisory meeting of the Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture.
At the start of the meeting, newly appointed representatives from various institutions for the Solar Year 1405 were introduced. The Commission’s procedural guidelines were distributed and thoroughly explained to the attendees.
Following this, discussions focused on organizing and expanding the Commission’s field and advisory programs, with participants exchanging views. New member proposals were also presented and evaluated to strengthen both advisory and field efforts.
A draft memorandum on providing alternatives to foreign terms and expressions was reviewed. document, created on the official letterhead of the Ministry of Information and Culture and sealed by the Signage and Advertising Boards Reform Commission, aims to offer standardized equivalents in the country’s national languages for use by (trade associations) and shopkeepers.
