The Historic Fort of “Bost” was Monitored for Restoration

The delegation of the Department for the Preservation and Restoration of Historic Sites of the Ministry of Information and Culture, with the help of the officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Helmand province, conducted a monitoring and cost estimate for the purpose of restoration of the Bost fort in Lashkargah city, the center of the said province.
Culture and Tourism Manager Sultan Muhammad Hanif said: “Helmand province has many ancient sites, one of them is the historic fort of Bost and the historical Shshak of Bost, after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, has been paid to attention to by the officials of the Department of Information and Culture and has been prevented from extortion.”
The reconstruction of the destroyed places of Bost Fort and historical Shshak will be started in the next fiscal year 1403. By restoring these historical places, more domestic and foreign tourists will be attracted to this province.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Information and Culture has a plan to monitor the restoration of other historical places such as Sultan Masoud and Sultan Mahmud historical palaces in the future.
