Director of Tourism Research and Development Visits Kunar to Assess Tourism Potential

The Director of Tourism Research and Development at the Ministry of Information and Culture’s Deputy Ministry for Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs, Mawlawi Mohammad Sadiq Sadaqat, travelled to Kunar Province, where he met with the province’s Director of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Najibullah Hanif, to discuss the development of the province’s tourist sites and the provision of necessary facilities for visitors.
Mawlawi Mohammad Sadiq Sadaqat said the purpose of his visit was to identify new tourist destinations, assess the potential of existing tourism sites, and determine the necessary facilities required for visitors in these areas.
During the meeting, Kunar’s Director of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Najibullah Hanif, provided information on several important tourist sites in the province. He said that investment and the provision of necessary facilities to promote and develop tourism in these areas would increase the number of domestic and international visitors to Kunar and further strengthen the tourism sector in the province.
