The Chinese Ambassador in Kabul meets with the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs.
On Wednesday, the 24th of Rajab 1447 AH, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kabul, Mr. Zhao Xing, met with Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture. They discuss cooperation in areas of tourism, culture, publishing, and the restoration of historical sites.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal emphasized the shared cultural and historical values between China and Afghanistan. He urged the Chinese Ambassador to support comprehensive cooperation aimed at strengthening the tourism sector. This included enhancing the capacity of students at the Hospitality and Tourism Institute, streamlining visa-related processes, and bolstering tourism marketing and investment initiatives.
Mr. Jamal also mentioned the significance of the Silk Road. He expressed a keen interest in organizing exhibitions of ancient artifacts between the two countries, alongside inviting professional experts to contribute.
Ambassador Zhao Xing highlighted the positive and cooperative relations shared by China and Afghanistan, stressing the importance of maintaining these ties as they have historically. He reaffirmed his commitment to bilateral cooperation and the exchange of experiences, noting that mutual collaboration is essential for strengthening cultural and tourism relations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, various gifts were exchanged between the Chinese ambassador and the deputy minister.
