Public Awareness Materials on Decree No. 17 Distributed in Laghman, Zabul and Bamyan

As part of its ongoing public awareness initiatives, the Ministry of Information and Culture distributed informational brochures, booklets, pens and other printed materials on Decree No. 17 issued by the Amir-ul-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him) to residents of Laghman, Zabul and Bamyan provinces.
The materials were prepared to raise public awareness about the decree and promote efforts to prevent harmful social practices. Dozens of informational banners were also installed at various locations across the three provinces.
In addition to distributing the materials, discussions were held with residents on the significance of Decree No. 17, its role in addressing harmful social practices, and the importance of public awareness in promoting authentic cultural values. Their views and suggestions were also heard during the discussions.
Residents welcomed the awareness programs and called for their continuation and expansion to further inform the public about the contents of Decree No. 17. They described the initiatives as effective in addressing harmful social practices and strengthening authentic social and cultural values.
Officials of the provincial Directorates of Information and Culture also emphasized the importance of increasing public understanding of the decree and maintaining dialogue with different segments of society. They said continued public engagement would help improve awareness of harmful social practices and contribute to strengthening authentic social and cultural values.
