Young people in Balkh have started reading more than before

Officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Balkh province say that the interest in reading or studying books has increased among the youth compared to the past. Every day dozens of young people visit the Public Library of Balkh province and read there in different fields.
In this regard, Shafiullah Haidari, General Manager of Public Libraries of Balkh Province, says that the love and interest of young people in studying has increased this year compared to before, where people visit the library and studies books in different fields. There are 20,000 thousand volumes of books in Balkh Province Maulana Khasta Public Library. School and university students use it according to their needs and preferences.
Mr. Haidari added that the door of Balkh Public Library is open to all young people and requested all young people to avoid idle sitting, idle work, idle internet activities and other harmful networks, instead give priority to books and studies, so that their life and future becomes broghter. He adds that there are more than 50 private libraries in Balkh besides the public library, and young people can use them.
