A Visit Was Made to the Historical Monuments of Shajoy District

A working team was sent to Shajoy district by the Department of Information and Culture of Zabul Province for the protection and care of historical monuments and artifacts and to educate the general public in this regard.
Abdulwali Basharmal, the Manager of Culture and Tourism of the Department of Information and Culture of Zabul, said; “Sahib Khan Hills, Sangar Jamal Khel, Shobar and Sur Tak in Shajoy District are the historical places that have a long history.” Besides visiting these historical places, he also gave public awareness to the people in terms of protecting the historical monuments.
Maulvi Rehmatullah Jawad, the district governor of Shajoy District, said; “The security forces have prevented the smuggling of historical artifacts in this district several times and after this they will not allow anyone to smuggle historical artifacts.”
The residents of Shajoy also called it necessary to protect the historical monuments and artifacts, and promised to cooperate with the Department of Information and Culture.
