Urban Order Committee of Baghlan Province Collects those Signs Which Are Written in Foreign Languages From the City
The Urban Order Committee in Baghlan province, which is formed from the departments of Information and Culture, Municipality and Housing and Urban Development, emphasized in its last meeting today that significant progress has been made in the field of urban development, and they are considering removing all the signs and banners from the city that are not written in the languages of the people of Afghanistan, but instead of Afghan languages, priority has been given to other languages.
In this regard, Moulvi Asadullah Mustafa Hashemi, Director of Information and Culture of Baghlan, said; “From all the cities of Pul Khumri and districts, those signs and banners will be collected which are written in other languages and which have given priority to other languages instead of Afghani, and also some some signs and banners that are written in such a format that they have not paid attention to the social and urban culture of the Afghan society.”
Mr. Hashemi added that some of the signs and banners that are written in Afghan languages but using foreign terms will be removed from the city or corrections will be made.
