Under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, the High Council of Languages held its second meeting today.
Deputy Minister of Art and Culture Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi said; “Along with the official languages of the country, it is our common obligation to try to make the few languages of the country that are currently under the threat of disappearing effective for literary and academic enrichment and development.”
He added that language is the best tool for communication, academic development and the service and prosperity of Islam and Muslims, it should not be used for prejudice, superiority and selfishness.
  The members of the Council discussed the draft prepared for the High Language Council, which consists of three chapters and 15 articles, and shared various opinions, in the end it was decided that the draft should be further refined and documented so that it can be sent to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for approval.
