A seven-day Quran and Book Exhibition has been inaugurated at the Cultural Square

On Thursday, the 28th of Sha'ban, 1446 (February 27, 2025), the Deputy Minister for Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, along with the Directorate of Bihāqi Book Publishing, inaugurated a seven-day exhibition celebrating the Holy Quran and various other books in honor of the blessed month of Ramadan. The exhibition was inaugurated at Cultural Square (Deh Afghanan) in Kabul.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mahajir Farahi, Deputy Minister of Publications, and Mawlawi Abdul Aliem Zawank, Director of the Bihaqi Book Publishing Directorate, along with ministry officials, booksellers, poets, authors, and book enthusiasts.

In his speech, Mr. Farahi highlighted that the exhibition is dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan, featuring not only the Quran but also thousands of additional books. He emphasized that the primary goal of the exhibition is to promote a culture of reading within society.

One of the attendees expressed their joy about the event, noting that such exhibitions play a crucial role in fostering a culture of reading and appreciation for books, especially among the youth.
