"Salang Zamzame" Annual Poetry Festival was held in Baghlan
Department of Information and Culture of Baghlan Province held poetry festival of "Salang Zamzame" and the preview of the poetry collection "Sarod Dard".
Director of Information and Culture of Baghlan Maulvi Asadullah Mustafa Hashmi asked the poets to write poetry according to the requirements of the time and situation and to make tireless efforts for the development of literature in Afghan languages.
He said that the poetry collection "Sarod Dard" was also published with the efforts of the Department of Information and Culture, and the poems published in the book present the country's struggles, social images and bad customs of the society in a formal language.
The Director of Baghlan governor's office Maulvi Lal Jan Rashid called the ongoing literary and cultural activities in this province significant and added that the provincial administration wants to expand literary activities in this province in coordination with the Department of Information and Culture. .
Maulvi Izat Mir Haqqani, the Manager of Culture and Tourism, said that different branches of literature are windows to humanity and spirituality, and accordingly, the poems recited in the festival and the poems of the poetry collection “Sorod Dard" present such a picture, whose colors are derived from the diversity of different languages and literary works.
In the poetic festival (Mushaira), dozens of poets, cultural figures and teachers of different languages recited poems along with the anthem, presenting various images related to love, patriotism, social criticism and human life.
It is worth noting that the "Saling Zamzame" annual poetic festival (Mushaira) was held for the first time and it will be held every year from now on in Baghlan province.
