The Restoration Work of “Zarghone Ana” Tomb Has Been Completed In Kandahar Province

Yesterday, Tuesday (19th of March, 2024), the tomb of Zarghone Anna, the mother of Great Ahmad Shah Baba, which is located in Kohak area of Arghandab district, which the restoration work was started three months ago by the Ministry of Information and Culture, and in the opening ceremony of the restoration works the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah had also attended.
Maulvi Inamullah Samangani, Director of Information and Culture of Kandahar province, said that the restoration work of the tomb of Zarghone Anna has been completed. Eleven million Afghanis have been spent on this project, which has been paid from the budget of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
It is worth mentioning that in the continuation of the restoration of historical monuments at the country level, the restoration works of the house of Great Ahmad Shah Baba in Kandahar is also continuing and some historical places have been restored.
