The Book Evaluation Commission, under the Deputy Ministry of Publications Affairs in the Ministry of Information and Culture, held its regular meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister Mr. Mohajer Farahi, with the participation of all commission members.

The meeting began with a review of the previous session’s report, and the commission’s activities and achievements were assessed positively.

During the session, several important publishing matters were discussed. A number of books written in line with Islamic and Afghan values were approved for publication. Decisions were also made regarding 70 previously released titles covering different subjects.

The meeting further allowed writers to share their concerns, and members held discussions on book endorsements (taqriz).

At the conclusion of the meeting, 13 newly submitted manuscripts were assigned to commission members for review, with reports to be presented at the next session.
