Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Convened

On Monday, the 14th of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1446 (corresponding to the Islamic calendar), the regular session of the Book Evaluation Commission was convened under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture. The meeting was attended by all members of the commission.

The session began with the presentation of the previous meeting’s report by the commission’s secretary. In his remarks, Mr. Farahi commended the commission’s achievements and praised the progress made in its recent activities.

During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on a number of submitted books. Those manuscripts deemed consistent with Islamic and Afghan cultural values were approved for publication.

At the conclusion of the session, new books submitted for evaluation were distributed among commission members for review. Members were instructed to present their assessments and recommendations in the next scheduled meeting.
