The Reconstruction of the Ancient City of “Zahak” in Bamiyan has Started

Officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Bamiyan Province say; “The reconstruction of the ancient city of Zahak in Bamiyan has started.”
Mawlavi Safiullah Raed, the Director of Information and Culture of Bamiyan province, says; “This project was started by the UNESCO organization and with the cooperation and supervision of this department, the work will be completed within two months.”
According to Mr. Raed, such projects are very important and valuable for the preservation and continuation of the historical monuments and areas of Bamiyan.
He adds that the Department of Information and Culture of Bamiyan is trying to bring those organizations to this province that work in the field of protection of historical and ancient artifacts.
