In order to encourage studying in Helmand, the Best Students of the week were Awarded

Last Thursday, 9 March,2023,  an appreciation ceremony was organized for two young people in order to encourage them to study in the public library of Helmand Department of Information and Culture.
In which Moulvi Sultan Muhammad Hanif, the Manager of Culture and Tourism of the Department of Information and Culture, Mohsin Omari in charge of the public library, students and many people participated.
The meeting started with the blessed verses of the Holy Quran, then the Culture and Tourism Manager invited the youth to study and called the study as a reason for the development of the mind.
Mohsin Omari, the General Manager of the public library, said in his speech that the purpose of this meeting is to encourage students and young people to study books. He also said that the public library is open to the clients, the students can study in a quiet atmosphere even in informal time.
The library has Islamic history, Pashto literature, Dari literature, English literature, science, journalism, medicine and some other science books.
In the last part of the meeting, the head of the library praised two young people from among the book readers of the week for encouraging them to study.
It is worth noting that the book registration process of the Helmand Department of Information and Culture Public Library is going on steadily.
Mr. Mohsin Omari, the official of the public library, says that by registering and organizing the books of the public library, it will be much easier for the students to find and study their favorite book.
The public library is the only library in Helmand province which has more students who use the books to increase their knowledge.
