A One-Day Youth Seminar Held at Helmand Cultural Center

The Cultural Center of Lashkargah city hosted a one-day seminar. The event was organized by the Youth Affairs Directorate of the Helmand Department of Information and Culture. The Al-Ribat Intellectual and Cultural Organization also collaborated. The seminar's theme was “Explanation of the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin’s Decree on the Prevention of Harmful Traditions.”

At the outset, the Head of Youth Affairs warmly welcomed the participants and highlighted the crucial role of youth in societal progress. He stressed that youth should not only remain committed to their religious duties but also actively contribute to community development, engage in innovation, and compete on a global level. He noted that the nation’s future depends on its youth, who have the potential to create positive change and build a brighter future.

The Head of Da’wah and Guidance at Helmand University then offered a detailed explanation of the decree issued by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him). The decree concerns the prevention of harmful traditions. He emphasized that young people play a vital role in social reform. He encouraged youth to devote sincere efforts toward the comprehensive improvement of society. He also asked them to clearly convey the message of the decree.

Representing Helmand’s youth, Mawlawi Asadullah Saadat expressed gratitude for the initiative, praising the Youth Affairs Directorate for its continuous services to the young generation of Helmand. He especially pointed out the establishment of free educational centers as a valuable contribution.
