The Media has a Special Role in the Strengthening and Developing of the System

Tuesday (12th of March, 2024), the Governor of Laghman, Maulvi Sher Ahmad Haqqani, the Director of Information and Culture, Maulvi Abdul Noor Rasooli, and the officials of Laghman province related media held a meeting.
The Director of Information and Culture presented the information related to media activity and media in Laghman province and said that the media has always broadcasted professional and fact-based news in this province and continues to do so.
Maulvi Sher Ahmed Haqqani, Governor of Laghman, said: “I am glad to have met the representatives of the media,” he added; “The media is a network of thinking, it has a special role in the strengthening and development of the system, it should broadcast the facts, we are trying hard to provide a comfortable work environment for the media and solve the problems of the media and journalists.”
He also said: “Western media spend thousands of dollars to spread negative propaganda against the existing system, but still they have lost their trust.”
Mr. Osmani asked the media officials of Laghman province to broadcast news based on facts and supporting the regime.
