A Funding Mechanism is Being Created to Support Journalists

On Tuesday (5th of March, 2024), the Media Violations Evaluation Commission held a regular meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
In the course of the meeting, the participants discussed the ongoing activities of the media, problems, suggestions and violations.
Mr. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said: “Various facilities have been provided for the media and their problems have been addressed, the media can continue their activities by keeping in mind the national interests and Islamic values.”
In the meeting, it was decided that a funding mechanism should be established for cooperation with journalists and a delegation was assigned the task of creating a procedure for this task.
