A meeting was held with representatives of local and independent media in Nangarhar province

Yesterday, a meeting was held with the representatives of local and independent media in the Information and Culture Department of Nangarhar province to resolve some issues.
Information Manager Qureshi Badlun assured the journalists that the current system attaches great importance to the principles of journalism and media in the light of the blessed religion of Islam and Afghan culture and defends their rights.
Mr. Badlun said: "The media is a bridge between the government and the people, and according to the principles of journalism, we and you need to take into consideration the above discussion to present accurate news to the citizens in a timely manner and prevent the unethical words of the outside world." 
Journalists and media representatives shared a number of requests and suggestions with the Information Manager, which he assured would be resolved.
