Ministry of Information and Culture celebrated International Day of Tourism
Today Wednesday (2023/9/27), the Ministry of Information and Culture celebrated International Day of Tourism.
Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, Deputy Minister of Broadcasting Mohajer Farahi, Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanakzai, many other officials, foreign diplomats and ethnic elders participated in the celebration held on this occasion.
At the beginning, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture said;“The movement of citizens between countries has a positive effect on the political relations of those countries for tourism.”
He added, “we appeal to foreign citizens to come here and see our security situation along with tourism and compare it with the past, what happened years ago in this country.”
According to Mr. Khairkhwah, “Afghanistan has special historical and recreational areas. Alhamdulillah, now that security has come, tourists from all countries can come to visit them.”
Also, the Minister gave an assurance from the Ministry of Information and Culture that Afghans are hospitable people and called on the countrymen, any foreigners who come here and have a permit are our guests, we should send them off in a good manner.
On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of broadcasting Mohajer Farahi said; “With the restoration of the Islamic Emirate and the establishment of complete security, there has been a significant increase in the arrival of foreign tourists to the country.”
He added that construction of modern hotels is underway in four recreational and historical areas of Bamiyan, Nuristan, Saripul and Ghor Provinces.
