The Director of Archeology of the Ministry of Information and Culture made an official visit to Paktia province

Yesterday, Zabihullah Sadat, Director of the Department of Archeology of the Ministry of Information and Culture, and Sultan Masoud Moradi, Engineer of the said department headed by the Director of the Planning and Policy, Feda Mohammad Dost made an official visit to the province for the protection kf ancient areas and monuments. There they met with the administrative officials of the said province and discussed about the ancient areas and monuments.
According to Mr. Sadat, ancient monuments and areas are the heritage of our ancestors, the nation and the government should participate in preserving this great cultural heritage.
These delegations, which were accompanied by the officials of Paktia province, surveyed a part of this province and as a result identified an ancient area, in which the signs showed that it dated back to “Kashan” period of history.
