A Two-Day Book Exhibition was opened in the Center of Panjshir Province
Today, Tuesday (30/5/2023), a two-day book exhibition was opened at the Martyrs' Minar Intersection of the center of Bazarak district with the support of cultural volunteers from the Department of Information and Culture of Panjshir province.
Officials of local institutions of Panjsher, cultural figures, writers and youth participated in the opening ceremony of the said exhibition.
Regarding the exhibition, the Deputy Governor of Panjshir, Mullah Shah Malang Ruhollah said that holding book exhibitions has a fundamental role in the development of culture.
Later, the Director of Information and Culture Maulvi Nasrullah Malikzadeh said that reading should be accepted as a permanent need in the society and every citizen of the society should try to make reading their habit.
In terms of the Exhibition, he added that around 4000 books were displayed in the exhibition, which will be kept open for the public to read in the next two days.
