The seizure of Historical Places in Helmand was prevented
The Department of Information and Culture of Helmand informs that, last Thursday, it prevented the seizure of historical lands in the sixth district of Lashkar Gah, the center of Helmand.
Hafez Mudassar, Manager of Historical Sites of Helmand Information and Culture Department, says:
So far, they have cleared many historical villages and lands in Sangin, Babaji and Gershk districts, including Lashkargah in the center, and will save the rest of the villages from usurpation in a short time.
Among them, there was about five acres of land in the Kariz area of Panjshabna Day, which they saved from seizure.
He also adds that with the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, they have started their efforts to protect the historical sites and recently the number of tourists from the historical sites has also increased, in which some of them are foreign tourists.
He asked the UNESCO organization to help him in the restoration of the historical reservoirs and asked the citizens to fully protect the historical reservoirs and villages.
