The Regular Session of the Book Evaluation Commission Convened

On Monday (28 Sha’ban 1447 AH), the regular session of the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, was convened under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs, Mr. Muhajir Farahi.

At the outset of the meeting, the Commission’s Secretary presented a report on the previous session, and the Commission’s achievements and activities were positively evaluated. During the session, decisions were made concerning several books, and those found to be in compliance with Islamic and Afghan values were granted authorization for publication. Necessary determinations were also made regarding 42 volumes of imported and exported books.

At the conclusion of the meeting, 10 volumes submitted to the Commission for review were assigned to its members for evaluation, with instructions to present their findings at the next session. Furthermore, discussions were held with the representative of Umati Publishing House concerning the printing and distribution of books.
