In alignment with the directives of the minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture and following consultations with prominent academic and cultural figures, a meeting was held under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Art and Culture, Maulawi Atiqullah Azizi. The meeting focused on the appropriate use and reverence of the Islamic Emirate’s official flag, which features the Kalima Tayyiba (لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله), in public spaces and on vehicles.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Azizi emphasized, “The inclusion of the Kalima Tayyiba on the official flag of the Islamic Emirate is a distinctive and symbolic feature that represents the religious, jihadi pride, dignity, and grandeur of our nation and Islamic system.”

He further stated, “The flag must be displayed and used only in settings where its sanctity can be preserved and respected. To achieve this, a comprehensive nationwide awareness campaign must be initiated to educate the public on these critical considerations.”

After constructive discussions among committee members, a dedicated working committee was established. This committee is tasked with thoroughly evaluating and proposing measures for the respectful use and display of the flag and the Kalima Tayyiba. The committee’s final recommendations and decisions will be presented to higher authorities for approval in the upcoming session.
