Mushaira under the title of "Shoorchai Badakhshani Poetry" was organized by the Directorate of Information and Culture of Badakhshan province!

Yesterday, the Directorate of Information and Culture of Badakhshan organized a one-day Mushaira under the title of "Shoorchai Badakhshani Poetry" with the presence of poets, authors, scholars, and influencers in order to preserve local cultures.
AlHaj Moazuddin Ahmadi, Head of Information and Culture of Badakhshan Province said that the Ministry of Information and Culture pays special attention to the preservation of indigenous cultures and cultural assets in the country and will not spare any effort in its growth and development. We have gathered today by holding this cultural poetry gathering of Shoorchai Badakhshani which is one of the common practices of the people of Badakhshan province, in order to strengthen the cultural values.
Dr. Shams Ali "Shams", a poet and author, says about Shoorchai that about 5 thousand years ago, traders have transported tea from the Silk Road route to Badakhshan market, and the people of this province have Shoorchai in About 300 years before today with the combination of tea, milk, salt and walnut with a special kind of breakfast for themselves, and by the passage of time it has become a kind of cultural practice among the people of Badakhshan province.
At the end of the Mushaira, the poets enthusiastically recited all their poems related to the passion for Shoorchai Badakhshani.
