Minister Zuhair Meets Turkmen Elders, Youth

Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Mohammad Tahir Zuhair met with a number of Turkmen elders and youth here in his office on Thursday, the ministry said in a statement.
The Turkmen representatives asked Ministry of Information and Culture to ease employment opportunities for the Turkmen people within the ministry in Kabul and other provinces as well as do more for the Turkmen language and literature, according to the statement.
In his speech, Minister Zuhair called Turkmen as pride of Afghanistan, that has historically brought honors for the nation and the country in various sectors. The Minister assured of the ministry’s cooperation in recruitment of Turkmen cadres.
