The Minister of Information and Culture met with a delegation from the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation
(Monday, 5 Rajab 1446) Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, the Minister of Information and Culture met with a delegation from the Russian Federation in his office. The delegation was led by Mr. Jambulat Umarov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Chechen Republic, accompanied by the Deputy of the Council of Nationalities of the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Umarov described Muslims worldwide as one family, emphasizing that this delegation, as a member of your family, represents the Russian Federation and stated that their visit to Afghanistan aims to strengthen the historical and cultural ties between the two nations. Mr. Umarov also stressed the importance of introducing authentic Islamic culture to the world.
He remarked that this initiative could counteract the baseless propaganda against Islam and present its true image to the global audience. Furthermore, he assured that the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation would cooperate in various fields, including education and the sharing of experiences.
Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa welcomed the delegation and endorsed Mr. Umarov's remarks. He described Islam. As a religion of brotherhood and friendship, it highlights its role as a unifying, strengthening, and connecting force for Muslims worldwide.
The minister stated, “After 45 years, Afghanistan now enjoys nationwide security and has made significant progress and achievements in various fields. However, building a stable and advanced Afghanistan will still require more time. He added, “Currently, there is an excellent opportunity to strengthen relations between Afghanistan and the Russian Federation. Over time, these relations can expand further. It is our responsibility to introduce our authentic culture to other nations, creating opportunities for cultural development between the two countries.”
In conclusion, Mr. Khairkhwa described the delegation's visit to Afghanistan as a positive step and a promising start toward strengthening relations between the two nations. He also emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives.
