The Minister of Information and Culture listened to the media houses concerns in Herat

.On Saturday (25 Rabi Al-Awwal 1446), the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, visited Herat province and listened to the concerns of media houses. He assured them that he would address these issues.
Al-Haj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah discussed the economic difficulties encountered by the media in Herat. He recommended that media managers and journalists in Herat select a representative to communicate with the Ministry of Information and Culture to address these challenges. He also mentioned that some issues are already being addressed by the ministry in the capital. Mr. Khairkhah urged media officials and journalists in Herat to contribute to the country's progress in various fields.
Media officials and reporters stressed the importance of improving access to information and financial support.
Shamil Ahmed Mashal, a member of the media support and monitoring committee in Herat, highlighted that access to information is better in Herat compared to other provinces. He emphasized the need to address frequency pricing with the Ministry of Communication.
Mawlvi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the head of Herat's Information and Culture Department, assured journalists that their concerns would be taken seriously. The Ministry of Information and Culture was urged to pay attention to the issue of loans.
According to the media support and monitoring committee, there are approximately 65 video, audio, and print media outlets operating in the western region.
