Minister of Information and Culture Leads Delegation to Badghis Province
The Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, led an official delegation to Badghis Province, where he attended a meeting aimed at supporting the effective implementation of the 17th decree issued by His Excellency the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him). During the visit, the Minister also toured the Provincial Department of Information and Culture.
At the meeting, the Head of the Department of Information and Culture emphasized the importance of the decree, stating that Islamic culture is the only comprehensive and universal culture. He noted that the 17th decree is among the inclusive and far-reaching directives that guide society toward the right direction and protect it from superstitions.
Mr. Muhajir Farahi, the deputy minister for Publications Affairs, remarked that the decree should first be implemented by officials themselves, and thereafter, efforts should be made to ensure its proper application among the public. He added that the most effective way to disseminate and implement the decree is through mosques and media platforms.
The Minister of Information and Culture reiterated the importance of implementing the decrees of His Excellency the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him), stating that the 17th decree was issued to safeguard public interest and includes provisions aimed at facilitating the lives of the people. He further emphasized that Islam is a religion of ease and convenience, and adherence to this decree will increase divine blessings in people’s lives and help eliminate superstitious practices from society.
During his visit to the Department of Information and Culture, Minister Haqqani stressed the importance of improving administrative processes, enhancing staff capacity, and expanding cultural and media activities at the provincial level. He assured full cooperation in these areas.
Similarly, the Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs highlighted the role of media and the importance of cultural activities, emphasizing the need to strengthen media programs and provide continued support for professionals working in this sector.
