The message of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan regarding the celebration of World Radio Day on February 13:
The Ministry of Information and Culture is committed to freedom of expression and full support of public media, especially radio media, and the right to access information, while considering Islamic and National values.
Radio is one of the special types of media that has played an important and essential role in reflecting the facts and informing the public, providing accurate and fast information, and developing Islamic, National and Cultural values, especially in the geography of Afghanistan where the remote areas are generally inaccessible and they do not have access to any other type of media.
At present, more than (367) domestic media, of which more than (200) Two Hundred are radio media and (14) foreign media are permanently engaged, and now more than (800) foreign journalists from (250) various media people have entered Afghanistan to reflect the realities, where Islamic Emirate has created an easier environment for their work and ensures their security...
Unfortunately, the only problem that affected all the media and caused their downfall was the economic problem, where the Ministry of Information and Culture have worked and are working hard in order to tackle this problem.
Mufti Abdul Matin (Qani), Advisor and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
