A meeting of the book review committee was conducted

On Thursday (21st of Zul Qada 1445), officials from Herat Province's Department of Information and Culture stated that a meeting of the book appraisal committee was conducted to resolve issues with booksellers and publishing societies. 

Mawlavi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, Head of Information and Culture, stated that publishing houses should not print works that are harmful to national interests, tribal unity, and Islamic customs. He continued, saying that even though a lot of work has been done in the last 20 years to divert the public mind, books and studies shouldn't poison the minds of teenagers.

 Other committee members also insisted on providing facilities to publishing businesses and stated that publishing societies should print books according to the AA rules and policy.
