In Kandahar, Naatiya Mushaira was held in the “Manqbat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)”
In the Information and Culture Department of Kandahar Province, a wonderful Naatiya Mushaira was held in honor of the Prophet, (peace and blessings be upon him). In this particular Mushaira, the Director of Information and Culture, Maulavi Inamullah Samangani, The Deputy of Municipality, Maulavi Qudratullah Wesal, the President of Kandahar University, Maulavi Akram Shah Asim, administrative officials, poets, writers and common people participated.
At the beginning, Mr. Samangani spoke and said that now freedom, security and an Islamic system have been established in our country and we have a Sharia Amir who has full authority in the whole country, so more than ever before, Sharia values are more credited here.
Mr. Samangani added that it is our pride to follow the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Likewise, Mr. Wesal, the Deputy of the Municipality, said in his words; “The morals and attributes of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, are innumerable. His morals and behavior towards Muslims and infidels in his life are unique.” He requested that we should practice the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, throughout our lives.
Later, in the Mushaira section, poets and Naat speakers recited various Naats and Poems on the life, morals and attributes of the Messenger of Allah.
