 Journalism Graduates Receive Certificates After Completing Training in BNA

A number of journalism graduated students, on Tuesday, received certificate letters from Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) after completing training period in the agency.
In a meeting held on the occasion and attended by the authorities of the Ministry of Information and Culture, including the Deputy Minister on Publication Affairs, Abdul Manan Shiway Sharq, the Acting Minister, Mohammad Tahir Zuhair spoke on the issue and commended the leadership of the Bakhtar News Agency for running training period for the graduates of the journalism field.
The acting minister noted that Bakhtar News Agency had 80 years of background and was one of the best and unique agencies.
“But the agency also suffered much from the recent war, insecurity and disorders.”
He called the BNA one of the most important agencies of the country needed to be supported.
The acting Minister of Information and Culture also called the training opportunities for the youths effective in growing their talent and promotion of their skills and added that training courses were available for the students in all media relating to the ministry. Other participants, including BNA director also spoke in the ceremony. Najibullah Shinwari the director of the agency said his led agency enjoyed a good capacity, with its officials being capable of sharing experiences with the young journalists.
Shinwari also called for stepping up towards modern journalism and asked for review in the Afghanistan.
The journalism trainees, with Diana Hamdi representing others, thanked the BNA leadership for their academic and practical cooperation.
“The trainees got familiarity with practical work and could provide news stories and reports in different areas during their training periods facilitated by Bakhtar News Agency,” she said.
