Japanese Ambassador Praises Afghanistan’s Recent Progress
The Ambassador of Japan to Afghanistan, Mr. Takayoshi Kuromaya, along with a delegation, paid a farewell visit to the Director of the National Museum of Afghanistan and met with Mawlawi Sibghatullah Abid.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Abid expressed sincere appreciation for Japan’s long-standing support across various sectors, especially in protecting Afghanistan’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasized Japan’s crucial role in the country’s reconstruction and preservation efforts.
Ambassador Kuromaya commended the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for its impressive progress over the past four years, highlighting advancements in counter-narcotics, combating administrative corruption, and restoring national security. He reaffirmed Japan’s ongoing commitment to cooperate with Afghanistan, particularly in safeguarding cultural heritage and supporting the National Museum.
