It Is The Duty Of All The Citizens To Preserve The Historical Monuments Of The Country

The above statements were made by Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, during his visit to Ghazni province.
Mr. Azizi visited the historical sites of the said province and said that the historical sites and ancient areas of the country are the common history, identity and pride of all the citizens, while adding that protecting them is the duty of all the citizens.
Mr. Azizi added that in the past twenty years, millions of dollars have been spent on the preservation and maintenance of the historic reservoirs of Ghazni, but the historical reservoirs of this province have not been restored.
He asked the international community not to mix historical and cultural issues with politics and to take part in the reconstruction of the historical monuments and areas of Afghanistan.
