International Press Day was celebrated in Logar

Yesterday, Logar Provincial Department of Information and Culture and National Association of Journalists of Afghanistan celebrated International Press Day.
For this purpose, a meeting was organized in the hall of the Department of Information and Culture, in which the Director of Information and Culture Rafiullah Samim, the chief of security of the police headquarters Maulvi Kifayatullah Khalid, the advisor of the provincial authority Mufti Fazlur Rahman Adeeb, the Director of Mines, Qari Rahmatullah Ahmed, National Radio and Television Manager Zia-ul-Rahman Zaland, spokespersons of a number of institutions, local media officials, National Association of Journalists of Afghanistan and provincial representatives of the Security Committee also participated.
In the beginning, Rafiullah Samim, Director of Information and Culture, congratulated the International Press Day and thanked the efforts of the media in Logar, and called the media an important part of the press.
Mr. Samim added that since the arrival of Islamic Emirate there has been no problem between the media and government agencies in Logar, and Alhamdulillah, the situation of the media is improving. While another private rafio station by the name of Hewad has started their activities.
Later, Adviser to the Provincial Authority, Mufti Fazlur Rahman Adeeb, and Chief of Security of the Police Command, Maulawi Kifayatullah Khalid, called the role of the media and journalists important in the current situation and expressed confidence that they will support the media and journalists and will not hesitate in supporting the media.
Also, on behalf of the people, Khawaja Muhammad Naeem Qadri expressed his satisfaction with the activities of the media at the Logar province level.
