Inspection of Commercial and Advertisement Signboards Held in Kabul City
The Commission for the Regulation of Signboards and Advertisements, part of the Deputy Ministry of Publications under the Ministry of Information and Culture, conducted a comprehensive inspection of shop and market signboards and promotional advertisements along Taimani Second Project District Four of Kabul.
This inspection was conducted in accordance with approved procedures, with the participation of commission members and representatives from various relevant institutions. During the visit, commission members engaged with business owners and representatives from different professional sectors, providing practical recommendations, guidance, and necessary observations to ensure compliance with established standards.
Importantly, more than 170 signboards and advertisements were reviewed during the inspection. The review found instances of improper terminology, unlawful imagery, and signboards in poor condition, as well as some installed in unauthorized locations. The inspection team provided relevant recommendations to address these issues and promote compliance with standards.
